Gai and I drove down to Adelaide for a week to help the family tidy up the house and garden so that it would be safer for mum to get around by herself. On the drive back Gai even drove across the Hay Plain.

This involved in getting rid of stuff that was lying around on the verandah as well as pruning back the shrubs and trees in the front garden. We also threw out a lot of plastic pots around the shade house as you can see from the skip picture.

We decided to do away with the steps up the verandah and put a ramp in so that way mum could get her scooter up and down it a lot easier. So after the ramp was finished it was everyones turn to test it out with the scooter.
