We booked into a motel in town and hired a car. We went out for a drive around town and to some of the tourist spots. Unfortunately the pool was going green so we could not go swimming there. At the end of MacAllister Street is a boardwalk that follows the Pioneer River and this lead around to the Botanical Gardens if you really want a nice walk.
