The climate is certainly cooler upon arrival. Gai changed into long slacks and I stayed in shorts as we walked around town. Got lots of strange looks, but weather was not cold for me. Too cold yet that is. The balance of the time I spent in warmer clothing.

Light meal for tea
and I did dishes.

Some beautiful new
and old buildings.

Our hotel bathroom
at 'President Nord'.

The balance of the room.
Small and compact.

The lift. We are on the 7th
floor. Note the lift knob.

It actually open like a door.
Quite amusing really.

You select the floor and it's like a
magnetic catch locks the door in place.

About 4.30 pm. Lights are already
starting to come on.Looking north.

We thought this statue was fantastic,
however it turnerd out to be a human.

One of the many streets leading
to the Grand Place.

The Grand Place lit up after
the light show had been on.

The Grand Place
all lit up.

This huge Christmas tree is in
the centre of the square there.

Another picture of the beautiful
stonework and splendor of these buildings.

This is the building in photo 4 all
lit up a blue colour at night.

These decorations are all down our street
as it leads to a main shopping mall.
