Day 11, 22/12/06, Home Page

Arriving around 2PM the Hotel was perched on top of a hill. There was ice still everyw here on the ground and roofs as the pictures show, so it actually looked like snow every where. Next to the Hotel is the old stavbles - about 400 years old - that has been converted into rooms. Although small they were nice and cosy. No telephones or TV's here, so to entertain myself I found a few squeaky floorboards to walk on.

When we walked into the pub everyone just stopped talking and looked at us, and we we sat down they all resumed. We have had a few similar experiences but not as bad as this. The staff were great as they knew we were staying there so very attentive.

Home to Marlow tomorrow, so it wil be nice to stay in a place for more then one night.
