We decided that we would go away for a week. It's great being a contractor as you can work when you want to and given the amount of hours we had both been working a holiday was needed. We both liked Bribie Island and thought we would take our boat, Veronica, up there and that way we could get out on the water and do some fishing and boating in Pumicestone Passage as this is a lovely section of water.

Well we took the boat but it never went in the water as it blew a gale most of the time when it wasn't raining. Good job too as when we got home I went to start the boat and it wouldn't even start. So it was good in a way as I would have been cranky to put it in the water and then not be able to go out. Even so we still had a great time and spent time exploring the island instead.

We also went to the Glass House Mountains for a day trip and this was a very nice drive too.
