After 10.4 weeks it was time for Alister to graduate from 1RTU. This base used to be in Edinburgh in South Australia, but was moved to Wagga this year. We arrived at the base for the morning graduation parade and then had a light lunch with all the other families and their graduates. In the evening we came back again for the dinner and good byes, as the next day Alister was being shipped out to HMAS Cerberus in Victoria. We ended up on the same flight to Sydney as he and the other CETechs were on. So in Sydney we caught the plane back to the Coast while he headed south.
