When Alister was home he bought himself another car, but was flying back to Melbourne. So a week later he asked if we would drive the car to Melbourne - Crib Point for him. Some 1800 odd kilometres later we arrived. The air conditioner broke in the first 10 minutes and also the regulator started playing up half way through the trip, but we got the car there in one piece.
Alister got a TomTom for Christmas so this helped guide us around Sydney and Melbourne and get us to HMAS Cerberus. We then caught the train back to Frankston and into the city where we stayed in Essendon for the night before catching a flight home the next day.
