2010 June Home Page
Eggs on toast for breakfast and we hit the road at 9.30. It's another short drive today - only 159 miles. The weather is
a sunny 17 degrees.
Drumnadrochit lies at the head of Urquhart Bay on Loch Ness. I doubt we'll see the monster, but we saw plenty of beautiful
scenery along the way and certainly around the Loch.
We went over the Tay Bridge at Newport and the onto Dundee and Perth. Then we take the A90 towards Inverness following the
signs towards Fort William. The countryside of the Highlands was very beautiful. We stop along the way at a Distillery -
as one should - and take a tour of Loch Ness from the water. A wonderful day.
It finally starts to get dark around 11.00PM...
