2010 June Home Page

Today was overcast and about 20.

We had been told about an all day steam train experience from Fort William, but upon checking where we needed to go it would have made a long day being 1.5 hours travel each way and then a full day on the train, so Clive found one closer at hand at a place called Aviemore.

Heading back towards Inverness we turn off to the Aviemore Railway Station arriving just after midday. Just in time for the train which departs at 12.30. This trip is run by the Strathsprey Railway Company and although it was only a 45 minute journey each way it was a lot of fun.
