2010 June Home Page

Weather is a cool and cloudy 16 degrees.

Clive's back was a lot better today, that was until he sneezed. After 2 trips getting everything back in the car and many thanks to the disabled lift we are on our way again. We plan to stay in Chester for 2 nights, but have a 240 mile trip to do today.

First stop is at Gretna Green. This has certainly changed a lot since Gai was last here in 1980. We did some shopping in Marks and Spencers and bought Gai some new jumpers and a top. 30 pound well spent.

Down through Cumbria and then Lancashire then head for North Wales and Chester. We are staying at the Pheasant Inn which is about 15 miles from Chester. We have magnificant views across rolling hills to Chester and further in the distance Liverpool. It's so much nicer staying out of the big cities.
