Cooler with at least a breeze today.

Check out is at 11.00AM today and our shuttle is meant to collect us at midday. Given past experiences we will see how long we have to wait. This has not been a good Hotel to stay at - even though the room was large and to us it was more like a glorified back packers Hotel - but then again maybe they are all like this in Rome as it is an old city. The stairs also appear to be very steep compared to the English ones.

The shuttle arrived at 12.05PM then off to collect others. While loading oher people we hear this big crash - a motorcycle and car had collided right in front of us. Luckily no one was seriously hurt. You have to wonder how many times a day this happens here as traffic is crazy. Now to get around this accident so that we can be on the way to the airport.

Finally at the airport and then to check in for our 2 hour flight to Frankfurt. Once we arrived in Frankfurt it was then to re-check for the Hong Kong sector. Going through security Clive sets the alarm off and is taken to a cubicle for a hand scanner and body pat down.

Then off to the gates and then we find that once there they have made a gate change. We arrive at the correct gate with 10 minutes to spare and then baord the plane. We are on a Boeing 747-400 that looks to be fairly new. No personal viewing screens though, just the overhead TV's. I suppose this is economy

We watched a bit of the movie and then time for some sleep. Clive has developed a racking cough that does not sound too good.
