2010 May Home Page

Well, we're are off on our six and a half week holiday today.

We start our day awake at 5 a.m. Michael and Stevie stayed overnight so they could come to the airport with us and drive the 4 wheel drive back home. Stevie had to work until 2.30 am and Michael picked her up and she managed to catch an hour or so sleep before going to Brisbane International Airport. We went through all of the instructions with Michael a few times and the Pussy Cat is generally not happy as she knows something is going on and it has to do with suitcases.

All organized and Michael appears dressed for work and Stevie appears dressed for - bed? Still in her PJ's..Should have taken a photo, but having seen that when they were over seas they were wondering around a foreign city in PJ's you have to wonder!

The flight was 12 hours long from Brisbane to LA, leaving at 11 am and arrived just after 7 am "the same day". In other words we totally missed out on having a nights sleep, or something like that.
