2010 May Home Page

Today we had a later morning after yesterday - woke up at 11am. We walked down Grand Avenue trying to find the Street to pick up the Red Hop On Hop Off bus. We both have our overcoats on, but we forgot our gloves. It is so cold today. We went down Columbus because there was a red bus there but this wasn't the Street Clive was looking for. A bit further up was their booking stand. Considering we didn't know where we were going this was pretty lucky. We booked for a day tour $29 each which lasts for 24 hours. This bus was called the Chicago Trolley and did the Signature Tour. We both sat up top and it was absolutely freezing.

After about an hour we got off near the Sears Tower, now called the Willis Tower. Time for some lunch at McDonalds before we go up the tower and Maccas tastes like it does at home. We paid $15 each to go to the top. 103 floors later we arrived at the 'SkyDeck' as it is now called.
