We've decided that we will visit the zoo today.

Lincoln Park Zoo offers free entry and has over 80 species of animals. It was a lovely zoo with flowering gardens, wide paths and plenty of shady trees. It was a bit cool when we were there as the wind had a bite to it. We caught a cab there and that was only US$15.00. The zoo was founded in 1868.

This giraffe was camera shy.	Meerkats are so gorgeous.	This animal was sleeping.	More species of fish.
This rhino was coming straight at me.	.	A Sun Bear.	He was camera shy too.

Hyenas on the prowl.	the Ducks thought it was rest time too.	A brass Lion paw.	This little bird flew down to us.

He was camera shy too.	This Gorilla enclosure was really good.	This animal has a really long tail.	.

This was a lovely water park.	Feeding time - birds came from everywhere.	And still more come.	A frog fountain at the other end.
These drinking fountains were really cute.	There's also a childrens zoo here too.	.	This squirrel was getting away from us.
