It's Uncle Harry's 70th Birthday Party today. It is being held at The Kings Head, Little Marlow.
A maxi bus picked us up at 12.15 which held 14 people.
The Function Room had been decorated by Ian, who had blown up photos of Uncle Harry's life, from his earlier days.
The room looked fantastic and the food was wonderful, with cold ham, fresh salmon and salads.
Outside there were tables covered with umbrellas, which was a good thing as the sun is quite hot today.
Lots of people here, eating, drinking and enjoying themselves. Ian and Dave toasted Uncle Harry and the cake
that Aunty Ann had made was brought out. Then a group photo shoot, with Ian and Clive as the photographers.
We were home at 5 pm and Clive and I made sandwiches for everyone who had come back to their home.
The "hangers on" stayed for quite a while. Clive and I were talking to John from across the road about steam
trains and he told us about a couple that we may have time to do. One was on our way home, the last day,
to Marlow. Didcot Railway. We will certainly try and do this one.
