So mum is settling in and Clive nags her into cooking a curry. Well two of them in the kitchen nearly started WW3, but with the son finally doing what he was told we ended up with a nice meal.

Koalas In The Park, featured 21 colourful Koalas that were at Broadbeach. We went there after lunch and they were already packing up the display, as it had been raining all weekend. We managed to see a few, before they were going to be located around the Gold Coast. Eventually they will be auctioned off to raise money for the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital. After that a drive down towards Burleigh to check out the beaches and some of the sand erosion that had occurred.

Clive did manage to take some time off and they set out to the Hinze Dam as this was over flowing with water due to so much rain. Just a year ago we visited there and it was totally different now. Then onto Springbrook and the Mt. Tambourine Botanical Gardens.

Gai also celebrates another birthday and she got some beeautiful flowers from Donna and Daniel who were also holidaying up on the Gold Coast for a short period of time.
