Mary and jude were doing Steptember - where you have to walk 10,000 steps a day and in the process get sponsorship to raise money for charity. So we thoguht we would go up Springbrook and do some of the waterfalls again.

I've always wanted to walk to the bottom of Purlingbrook Falls so we thought we would do that - but the track is closed and you can't walk under the falls yet. It's been closed since January this year from all the rains that we had.

So we thought we would walk down and back, a 4KM return, but when we got to the bottom where the track was closed the path continued and so did we. Well this turned into an 8KM walk and lots of steps - but it was worth it. So I will have to go back and go under the falls once the track opens again.
