Trip to Sydney and visitors.

So early August it's always down to Sydney for the AGE show. This trip I also managed to get another piece of Muchamore history. A plate with writing we assume by WHH back from 1914. The gentlemen I acquired it from originally got it from the UK when he was based there for work. As a collector of bottles and plates he thought it may have had some history with early Australia, but that was not the case.

Travelling to the trade show every day via ferry was a great way to start the day, especially as there was no rain and mild mornings.

Later in the month Gary & Jeanette from Victoria dropped in and stayed a few days. Clive actually took a day off work and took them up to the Hinterland to see the waterfalls and they also did the walk to the bottom of Purling Brook Falls. They did the full ciruict walk which takes an easy 2 hours and was enjoyed by all. A stop off for some food after that and Jeanette can be seen attacking her Veggie Burger and chips - way too much food!!

Late August Clive was invited to the football - a Broncos game at Suncorp. After that it was a off to a night club called Lefties for a few hours and drinks. Great live music at this club and just a short stroll from the Suncorp Stadium.
