After a week of mum being here we'd decided that we would take her to Bribie Island as mum has seen most of the things on the Coast over the last 11 years. She didn't know we had planned this so it came as a big surprise when Clive siad he was taking a week off and we were going away. Well we have Gypsy no more, so we could easily go away for a few days depending on Gai's health.

The trip was booked from Sunday to Saturday, which would get us home a day before mum was due to fly out back to Adelaide. So after Mass on Sunday it was pack the Jeep and then off we go. A pleasant drive to Bribie to our home for the next week.

We have a ground floor unit with two bedrooms and two bathrooms called 'Periwinkle', which even though it was a bit dated was a great place for all of us. Just a walk over the road to the beach and being able to go to bed at night listening to the waves breakingon the beach. What more could you ask for ?
