So mum is up here for two weeks and Gai and I decided that seeing as we are not going to Adelaide to celebrate mum's 80th birthday, we will go away for a week again - but this time to Mooloolaba. We've booked a ground floor unit that is close to the beach.

It turned out that he unit is about 50 mretres from the beach as you go out the back, across a board walk and there you are. We could hear the surf and waves dumping from inside the unit as they really pound down onto the beach.

I took mum for a walk around Carrara Markets where we ended up buying her a new wind chime for her birthday and also a very appropriate sign.

Gai managed to break her little toe and Clive thought he would try the same later in the month when he kicked the bed whilst folding it up. He also made some delicious pea and ham soup - even though he says so himself.
