Wednesday 26th February - Warranambool to Ararat
Another cool night of 13.2 and a top of 21.7 A two hour drive and the same sort of scenery, so today's drive was a bit tiring as we didn't pass through many towns. It's meant to be a cool night tonight, so the blankets will be back on the bed. This is summer??? We both ended up having a sleep this afternoon, so it catches up with you every now and then. We're staying at the Pyrenees Caravan Park. It's only $22.50 a night and we have a drive through site. It's a nice and basic park with just a playground. Plenty of space and lots of bush around us. The park is located about 2km north of Ararat. It's Ash Wednesday today and unfortunately Clive was unable to get to any Mass. First time in ages he has missed this one.
