Friday 28th February - Ararat to Ballarat
A low of 11.1 last night and a high of 21.5. It's a coldish day. A short drive of about 85km today to Ballarat. We're staying at Jeanette's and Gary's house. They have acreage at Windemere and are allowing us to camp here for a few nights before we head back to the Gold Coast for a week. We've camped up the back and have power from the shed. We'll sleep in the van even though they have a room on offer. So much easier for me as I know where everything is and where I am. They have a family reunion on in Halls Gap, so we have the property to ourselves for the weekend. Very peaceful, but there are lots and lots of flies.
