December was a quiet month for us. Well, besides spending money on the air conditioning having to get that fixed. We also had an electrician come in to put in a new ceiling fan where we took the dining room light out. While he was here we got two additional TV points put in. One in the dining room and one in one of the guest bedrooms. Got to have some mod cons for the guests.

We bought a new Christmas Tree and Teddy his own bed for up here. This will save Jess and Michael having to bring one up everytime they visit. Besides, they brought the small car up for a run and it wouldn't fit. We baby sat Ted while they went onwards to see her mum.

How the world changed this year with the COVID 19 virus. It cut short our travel plans, social distancing became the new norm. Hand sanitizer was available in every shop. Non essential services were closed, lock downs enforced. Restrictions on domestic and international travel for essential services only. Sports games cancelled and 'bubbles' created as safe enviourments. State borders closed. Cruising ceased. Untold deaths and infections. The 2020 Olympic Games in Japan have been postponed until next year - hopefully. Scientists around the world start searching for a new COVID vaccine. The list goes on and life carries on, albeit, different to anything we have known in the past. Bring on next year.
