Winter is here.

The last time we felt the cold weather was in Ballarat I think. It's into jumpers for me. Jess brings grand dog Teddy for a visit as Michael is still away at work. Clive gets him a special dino bone which he loves. They also take him to the doggy park which is at the end of Boowaggon Road.

Cooking continues and Clive does a corned beef. Not bad. Jess enjoyed it. I've managed to book in with Julie to get my hair cut and fixed again. Oh, what it is to have a decent hair dresser who knows my hair.

Wednesday July the 22nd. It's finally happened. The For Sale sign goes up on Merrilaine Crescent and the first Open House will be this Saturday. It's started to rain and guess what, by the time it starts it's raining and we hide out in the caravan watching people come and go. Keving is pleased with the turn out and he thinks that we'll get some offers. Seems the rain has not hept the serious house hunters away. One clown has offered a stupid price and we tell Kevin that unless they wants to get serious then not to waste everyones time. Fingers crossed.

So before the end of the month we have a serious offer on the table. We've accepted a contract on the house and it's subject to the 14 day cooling off period. Another Open House is planned for August 1st and if there are no better offers then we will proceed with this one.

Looks like we are going to be nomads in the true sense of the word.
