Well happy new year to everyone and may it be all that you ever want.

The fresh vegetables are turning out only average. The cucumbers have done well, but not a lot can be said for the egg plants. tomatoes, chillies, just to name a few. Maybe better luck next year.

We've still been doing things around the house. Pictures getting hung - but we won't be able to fit all the ones that we had up on the Gold Coast in here. Maybe that's not a bad thing! Our new security door that we ordered in November finally gets delivered and installed.

Clive made pea and ham soup with the left over ham and also some cheese straws. Now this cheese straws receipe originates back to when he was in high school!

Lobsters twice this month. Once in our home and then we went to the Coast and lunch at George's Paragon on the Gold Coast with Michael and Jess. Delicious - what more can we say. Also while we were on the Coast, Clive used Michael's BBQ - actually our old one, to make some more brenjal pickle as we don't own a BBQ anymore and have no plans in getting one. Looks like Clive will have to work out a plan B for making pickle in future.
