This is the first month since Gai's death that I have been in the Bay all month.

sep/tember, especially Father's Day, is always difficult as dad died on this day in 2004. So it was out with the Drambuie and a toast to dad, Gai and her mum Beryl that night. They all liked a drop of Drambuie.

The Hervey Bay Botanical Gardens is in Urangan, so I went for a contemplative walk around them one morning, rather than my beach walk. Also a visit to the Orchid House. Reminds me of Singapore, but nowhere near the grandeur and spectical that Singapore offers. Still, it was pleasant to be walking in the 'Bush' again.

My sports app tells me that I covered 184km of walking and cycling for 22 hours and 32 minutes this month.
