Day 6, 17/12/06, Home Page

This Hotel is in the middle of no where. It is huge and had stables attached in a separate building. Very grand looking and a lovely place. So why build a Hotel out here. Well this is the old London Road, so in it's prime it would have been home to many a passing traveller, even though it appears to be in no man's land. We awoke the next morning to three degrees and a thick fog everywhere. The day has to get warmer surely. We had tea in restaurant which had timber pannels on all the walls. Food was as always good and plenty of it.

The view from our window
of some out houses.

Looking out
across the fields.

The few houses
that were around.

Gai resting. The boots
never left her feet.

Relaxing with a cold
beer before dinner.

Looking back
towards the bar.

Timber pannelled
walls were a feature.

Relaxing after dinner.
More wine ?.

We nearly had the
place to ourselves.

Smile
Gai.
