17/12/06 - It should only be a short three hours drive today, so maybe some time for a bit more sight seeing. We had breakfast at the hotel and
Clive had the full English breakfast whilst Gai had half the bacon and an egg from Clive. Waste not want not as we don't generally eat a lot at
this time of day and the meal was huge. There was ice on the car and weather was sunny but cold. Heading for Nottingham we took a detour to
Sherwood Forest. Also tried to find where Gai had stayed when she worked for a short time in England but with no success. That is because we were
in the wrong town !!!. So then to find the Olde Bell Hotel in Retford.
