21/12/06 - Blue skyies and sunny - about 8 degrees. Went to meet Jim and Margaret - people related to Gai who they found through genealogy. We had a pleaseant chat and stop there for a few hours and then off to the Shorelands Hotel. The pub is separate from the rooms, and is huge - even though we are in the middle of nowhere. Off to Larkhall for lunch and a sandwich and then on to Chapelton to meet Sheila. She has had a recent fall, so we went to her daughter's house.
