We decided to visit the Botanic Gardens on the Gold Coast as we have to 'contribute' towards their upkeep as part of our rates. This was also an outing for Gai that was not too far from home.

A trip to see Alister and Crystal takes a lot longer than expected when the tread on a tyre comes off.

Late in the month we went to the Sunshine Coast and spent three days at Twin Waters Resort. When we got back from our overseas trip we had the offer of a special rate, so we used the long week end for this trip.
